HTC Names Three New Client Companies
The Houston Technology Center (HTC), a business accelerator that incubates Houston-based emerging technology companies, is pleased to announce its newest Client Companies: Augmentix, Cogos Software and Dovarri, Inc. After evaluating business plans and meeting management teams, HTC determined these companies are appropriate matches for its acceleration services and has named each a “Client Company.”
HTC offers Client Companies in-depth business guidance including setting operational goals, advising and consulting on strategic business matters and serving as a coach for the entrepreneur. HTC also will help to facilitate access to professional services and capital.
Augmentix will enhance Dell’s PowerEdge severs to provide the lowest cost, highly available mission critical platforms to the applied computing markets. Dell’s standard server products are improved to include robust environmental attributes, heterogeneous platform management software compliant with the Service Availability Forum Hardware Platform Interface (HPI) standard, server availability management hardware, complete system integration and product lifecycle support. By leveraging Dell’s quality and costs points, Augmentix will provide customers a compelling cost advantage while delivering the attributes necessary for mission critical systems.
Cogos Software provides software and consulting services for knowledge management and virtual work. The organization exists within Andromeda, the company’s web-based software designed to support the work of virtual teams working on complex projects. Cogos has international clients in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, biotech, consumer services, optical technology, software, and energy industries. Cogos provides Andromeda and related consulting services to allow organizations made up of multiple teams to work in a digital environment independent of the barriers of time and distance.
Dovarri, Inc. is a sales-centric customer relationship management (CRM) solutions company. Located in Houston, Dovarri has provided sales force automation software since 1993. HTC Client Companies also benefit from HTC’s Service Provider Network, which includes lawyers, accountants, marketing professionals, consultants and others who want to help technology businesses grow and thrive in Houston. And HTC Client Companies that meet eligibility requirements have the opportunity to reside within the incubator space in the 26,000-square-foot Houston Technology Center.
