Key Technology Sectors in Houston

Houston is home to entrepreneurs and companies that are developing major technological advances in the key fields of energy, life sciences, information technology, nanotechnology and NASA-originated technology.

HTC was formed to help accelerate the commercialization of these technologies. To do this, HTC provides numerous educational opportunities for entrepreneurs and maintains a staff that works individually with HTC Client Companies.

This section describes the different technology programs and resources available to Client Companies. Also included is a brief description of our Mentor Network (available to Client Companies) as well as our Emerging Markets Group - which helps identify women and minority-based emerging technology companies and facilitates their preparation for the HTC process.
