On April 8, 2015, The McCain Institute and Rights4Girls hosted a discussion about combating child sex trafficking in the United States. We discussed current legislation and new technology trends that aim to prevent trafficking. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, at least 100,000 American children are victims of child sex trafficking each year. Many of these girls are abducted or lured by pimps and traffickers at bus stops, shelters, outside schools and through social media. By working together, we can help combat child sex trafficking in the United States and protect our vulnerable children.
