HTC Client, Voxofon, Appoints Tom Schulz Vice President, Operations
Technology Industry Veteran Tapped to Manage and Optimize Rapid Growth
HOUSTON, August 14, 2013 – Voxofon, a rapidly growing provider of over-the-top (OTT) voice and messaging services, today announced the appointment of Tom Schulz to the newly created position of Vice President, Operations. In his new position, Schulz is responsible for monitoring and optimizing Voxofon's key business metrics to ensure an exceptional customer experience and maximize revenue and profitability. Schulz reports to President and CEO Alexey Goloshubin.
During the first half of 2013, the company reported significant increases in every important business metric compared to the same period in 2012. Downloads have tripled for its apps for international and domestic voice and messaging, and the number of weekly callers increased 136 percent. At the same time, Voxofon’s voice and messaging apps are receiving high ratings. This positive customer experience is fueling top-line and bottom-line growth, with total credits purchased increasing 40 percent and profit up nearly 50 percent during the first half of 2013 compared to the same period a year ago.

Schulz previously held positions with Hewlett Packard, including Director of Operations with HP’s Networking Americas regional business unit and Manager of Operations of HP’s Industry Standard Servers Americas regional business unit. Earlier in his career, Schulz held positions with NCR Corporation. He earned an MBA from Wright State University.
