HTC Client, Rebellion Photonics, will participate in the Wall Street Journal's "Startup of the Year" Competition
[Rebellion Photonics], which has commercialized a video camera technology that can detect gas leaks in real time, has been admitted to the Wall Street Journal’s new “Startup of the Year” competition.
According to the WSJ, more than 500 startups applied to the contest, which will take place throughout the next 20 weeks.
Rebellion was one of 24 startups to be chosen for the competition, which will be documented throughout a series of videos on the WSJ site. As the competition progresses, companies will receive mentorship from top business leaders and celebrities, including Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group, Tory Burch of Tory Burch LLC, Tony Hsieh of Zappos.com, and MC Hammer, a musician and investor.
