Umesh Verma, President & CEO of BLUE LANCE, Named HTC's Advisory Board Chairman
HOUSTON, TX, March 27, 2012 – The Houston Technology Center (HTC) announced today the appointment of Umesh Verma as Chairman to the organization’s Advisory Board effective immediately. Umesh Verma is the President & CEO of BLUE LANCE a premier global provider of oversight, control and compliance solutions.

Umesh exemplifies a true entrepreneurial spirit and has been a tremendous asset to HTC, our Clients and Houston as a whole,” said Walter Ulrich, President & CEO of the Houston Technology Center.
Mr. Verma is a member of the Executive Committee of the Greater Houston Partnership Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Technology Infrastructure Committee, whose mission is to market Houston as a high tech region and a hub for high tech jobs. He is a Board member of The Center for Houston's Future chairing the Communications Committee; Board member of the Houston Technology Center and Advisory Board member for the University of Houston College of Technology. He is also a Board member and immediate past Chairman of the American Diabetes Association Houston Chapter. Mr. Verma also works closely with city and county officials providing thought leadership around Houston’s Wi-Fi initiatives.
Mr. Verma is a Future 500 Upside Award recipient, a recent Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, and honored as a distinguished entrepreneur by the Houston Technology Center.
