Houston Technology Center Names New Managing Director of the Houston Technology Center – JSC Campus
Tim Budzik to play key role in HTC’s initiative at Johnson Space Center
HOUSTON, Texas (June 14, 2012) – Houston Technology Center (HTC), Texas’ largest business incubator and accelerator announced today the addition of Tim Budzik as the organization’s new Managing Director of the Houston Technology Center – JSC Campus.
As Managing Director of the extended campus, Tim is responsible for leadership of HTC’s presence at the Johnson Space Center, including client incubation and acceleration; client recruitment and screening processes. He will provide mentoring to local incubation and client companies, helping to accelerate their progress towards key commercialization goals and financial success. Prior to joining HTC, he was an executive consultant providing business leadership in energy, defense, IT, cyber and aerospace industries. Tim Budzik was also the Director of Business Development for EADS-NA, Sr. BD Manager at United Space Alliance, Director of Capture and Proposal Consulting with Shipley Associates, Director of Strategic Investments with Dynegy and over 10 years of Sr. Engineering positions at JSC as a contractor. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and an Executive Education certificate from Rice University.
