Halliburton implements Ingenious Inc software
KBR, a division of Halliburton Inc has recently engaged in transactions with Ingenious Inc, a Houston based software company. KBR’s main interest is the state of the art simulation program, known as ProDyn. According to Bharat Kamdar, President of Ingenious Inc, “ProDyn is a dynamic simulation program that enables operator training for process operations, troubleshooting and control system testing. ProDyn is also web-enabled software meaning any user has the ability to access the software via an internet connection. ProDyn would allow KBR to offer state of the art simulation solutions to their clients” According to Surajit Dasgupta, Technology Manager (Advanced Process Automation) at KBR, “KBR intends to use the software for operator training projects and also integrate the ProDyn software interface with other simulation engines to improve the flexibility of our training solutions.”
