Gulf Coast Medical Device Manufacturers announces their expert speaker for health care reimbursement for medical devices & emerging technologies
As part of our initiative to educate and promote business development of medical devices in the Houston and surrounding regions, the Gulf Coast Medical Device Manufacturers (GCMDM) is pleased to announce their expert speaker for health care reimbursement for medical devices and emerging technologies. Lee Grindheim will be the September 12 featured speaker from 7.30am- 11am at the headquarters of BioHouston located at 2555 Holly Hall Street, Ste. 100, Houston, TX 77054.
Reimbursement is a critical issue for Medical Device manufacturers. The success or failure to obtain reimbursement from both public (Medicare) and private (commercial insurers) will have a direct and significant impact on sales. Grindheim will focus on early strategic planning for reimbursement, coding and TEC issues, and approaching payers for coverage and reimbursement.
“We are privileged to have Lee come to Houston and share her knowledge. She is one of the nation’s foremost experts on reimbursement. Medical device reimbursement is an essential step for a successful medical product launch and a well-constructed reimbursement strategy is essential”, said Dr. Mark Henrichs, Executive Director of the GCMDM. “Her program should be of great benefit for anyone in the medical device community or healthcare profession.”
