Karen Love & Leisa Holland-Nelson – Named Co-Chairs

Houston Technology Center’s "A Celebration of Entrepreneurs" Annual Gala

February 28, 2012 - HOUSTON - Houston Technology Center (HTC), announced today Leisa Holland-Nelson and Karen Love as Co-Chairs of the "A Celebration of Entrepreneurs."  This annual black-tie gala honors local entrepreneurs, who have made a significant impact in the Houston community. The event will also recognize one esteemed Honoree and present five Special Achievement Awards.  The gala will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Houston.

Leisa Holland-Nelson is Co-founder, President and CMO of ContentActive, where she is responsible for sales, marketing and human resources.  Leisa is also Host of the radio show The BusinessMakers Radio Show's - Women Mean Business.  Leisa was named one of "Houston's 50 Most Influential Women of 2009" by Houston Woman Magazine.

Karen Love is the Director of Practice Growth at PKF Texas.  Karen found the accounting marketing world in the mid 90's, when business development was a word rarely heard in the industry.  She was recently named one of the 2011 "Women on the Move" by the Texas Executive Women and" Houston's 50 Most Influential Women" by Houston Woman Magazine.
