Development and Energy – Lasting Partnerships

Please join us this year as we celebrate the Sweet 16 of the U.S.-Mexico Border Energy Forum.

The Forum’s central purpose is to emphasize the best use of energy possible in our fast-growing region, for economic development and least possible environmental impact.

Forum XVI in Houston follows the successful 2008 forum in Monterrey, Nuevo León, continuing the tradition of alternating each year between a site in northern Mexico and one in the southwestern United States.

The Forum is a coalition effort, made possible by the support of a wide variety of public and private sector organizations and agencies.

The Forum takes a comprehensive look at issues affecting energy and the environment throughout the 10 border states of northern Mexico and the southwestern United States.

The Forum’s ongoing efforts allows participants to:

  • track developments affecting natural gas markets.
  • find new partners for developing renewable resources like wind and sun.
  • seek ways to improve energy infrastructure.
  • learn more about energy efficiency.
  • promote alternative transportation fuels.
  • explore innovation in financing energy projects, large and small.
