Mary Bermel is responsible for driving leadership in the use of interactive advertising at HP. In this role, she oversees relationships with online media players, global search strategy and development of best practices.  Her mission is to grow HP''s use of digital media in order to connect with audiences whenever, wherever and however they wish to engage with HP. 

 

Prior to HP, Mary managed the interactive function at Compaq Computer Corporation and was the first interactive advertising manager at Digital Equipment Corporation in 2000.  She has held positions in channel marketing, product marketing and marketing communications. She began her career in sales at IBM.

 

Mary is most proud of her small but passionate team (2 of whom are Houstonians!), who focus on delivering best-in-class customer experiences working with industry leaders Yahoo, MSN, Google and CNET among others.

 

In her spare time, Mary enjoys fitness and cooking. She resides in Massachusetts with her husband Paul and children, Madison and Kyle.
