“Say it with Power” Workshop

This workshop, the first for the fall “Lunch and Learn” Series, is an introduction to the “Say It with Power!” program. The purpose of the training is to provide participants with a powerful solution for creating sustainable change so that they can be heard and understood with clarity.

Free. Requires registration for a limited number of seats.

This workshop is ideal for non-native English speakers who need to communicate efficiently, effectively and confidently in a diverse global business environment.

Enjoy an introduction to how the body utilizes your voice, your ear and your brain in combination as an instrument of communication. In this workshop, you will discover how our unique approach helps participants:

  • Sustainably improve speech challenges such as accent, pronunciation, and enunciation of North American English.
  • Integrate the function of hearing and speech production in North American English.
  • Command and keep their audience’s attention through management of speed, phrasing, volume and vocal projection and vocal tone.
  • Raise their confidence in conversations, meetings, teleconferences and presentations.

All learning is based on key approaches from the classical music and acting training worlds, vocal engineering from opera, speech pathology, cognitive linguistics and performance coaching.

We will conduct hands-on exercises that will help participants understand how this training is different from others and how it enhances your effectiveness. These proven techniques have helped non-native English communicators create greater success in global environments by improving their communication skills.
