The Houston Entrepreneur’s Forum is pleased to announce that Umesh Verma will be our speaker on Tuesday March 22, 2016. Mr. Verma is the CEO and Founder of Blue Lance.

Over the past quarter century, Mr. Verma has built Blue Lance into a global provider of Cybersecurity products and services. Banks, corporations, health care organizations, educational institutions, retail outlets and government agencies in over 40 countries use Blue Lance’s software solutions.

Mr. Verma started his software career as an Environmental Engineer at Brown & Root. Thereafter, he developed oil-rig operations and control software for Shell Oil.

Umesh is very active in the Houston community. He has served on the boards of The Center for Houston’s Future, Houston Technology Center, American Diabetes Association, University of Houston College of Technology and Greater Houston Partnership (GHP).

Mr. Verma has chaired the GHP Cybersecurity Task Force for the last 3 years. The Task Force has focused on what economical steps every business should take to ensure that they are capable of surviving a cyberattack. A free copy of 3rd edition of The Business Cybersecurity Vitality Guild that was published by the Task Force will be available for attendees.
