Civic Hack Night - Transit Edition | Open Houston

So much happening at this hack night!

We will be announcing the winners of the Houston Open Challenge.

We are honoring Mayor Pro-Tem Ed Gonzalez with the first-ever Sketch City Award For Being Awesome.  MPT's commitment to the Houston technology and innovation community is one of our driving forces.  We are sad to see him leave office.

We will be announcing the kickoff of MobilityHouston, a Glasshouse Policy project!

This is a transit-focused hack night, where we will have special guests to help you work on transit and mobility projects.  Connected car? Check. Better bus apps? Check. Transit theory? Check. Pretty much everything about moving around this city? Check.

Join us if you have a project idea, or if you're just curious about this whole hack night thing.  If you can't make it, see you next year!

Organizer Open Houston

We are a community group focused on open data and public sector innovation.  We work side-by-side with the City of Houston (and other local governments) to support new and innovative programs.
We believe that government can be a force for good. Code for America has our back.
