Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own site and want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program but want to start small? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, this course is for you!

This beginner course will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS to assist you along the way as you develop your own website.

This Introduction to HTML/CSS will take place SATURDAY, June 6,[masked]:00am - 5:00pm 

First Half: Intro to HTML and CSS

Class starts @ 8:00am to 12:00pm 

Lunch @ 12:00pm-1:00pm

Class resumes @ 1:00pm

Second Half: CSS Deep Dive 

Class starts @ 1:00pm to 5:00pm 

Prior to class

We ask that you install the following on your laptop prior to class:

- NotePad++ NotePad++ Download  - Chrome Browser Chrome Download

* Both installations are free and available for Mac and PC

Tech Requirements for class: Laptop. Note: A netbook or tablet will not work for this course. 

Meet your instructor:  Nona Durham

Nona is a well-rounded backend and front-end application developer with over 10 year experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.  Having worked in a corporate environment, she’s well versed in C# and .Net technologies.  She has always wanted to teach and is very excited to work with GDI Houston Chapter to spread her love and passion for coding.  Nona has been married to her husband Josh for 2 years and is “mom” to a 12 year old Schnoodle named Kristy and a 10 year old black cat named Kitty.

Please note our refund policy: Your payment of $85 guarantees your seat in the class.  If something changed after registration and you cannot attend class your seat is your's to sell or give to someone else but let us know!  As a rule we don't offer refunds, but please let us know if you have extenuating circumstances.
