Space Center Houston's Diva Designs Hackathon

Over the last few months, more than 200 elementary and middle school girls from underserved communities across Houston have been working on app ideas through Space Center Houston’s Diva Designs program.

Their ideas are focused on advocacy topics such as poverty and homelessness, environmental issues, health and wellness, human trafficking, and other social justice issues.

They've been taught the basics of requirements, conceptual design, and wireframing.  Now, they need your help making their dream apps real.

Hosted by our friends at START Houston, the first-ever Space Center Houston Diva Designs hackathon features a $2,500 grand prize and the opportunity to collaborate with some great, young minds.
