Service Provider Network

Background and Structure

The Service Provider Network (SPN) was originally organized by the Houston Technology Center in 1999 to bring together a group of qualified experts that could assist HTC client companies with their professional service requirements.  The Mission of the Service Provider Network is to provide a network and support organization for service providers which will enhance the development of relationships and referral opportunities amongst service providers, HTC Client companies, and capital sources. Member Service Companies include the following verticals: accounting, banking, consulting, human resources, insurance, legal, marketing/communications and technical services.

Membership meetings are formally held once a quarter at the HTC facility.  Each meeting consists of networking time, one speaker from the technology investment community (Venture Capital, Private Equity, Corporate or Angel Investor), one or more speakers from the membership, and other topics as designated by the group.

By Joining HTC’s Service Provider Network you get…

- Direct leads to promising technology start-ups

- Referrals from professional service firms in other verticals

- Branding and exposure to Houston ’s technology & business community
