Houston Technology Center Will Honor Mr. Mike Alsup – Lifetime Achievement Award In IT

The Houston Technology Center announced today it will honor Mr. Mike Alsup at the 2016 Celebration of Entrepreneurs Gala. Held annually, this magical evening event will honor local entrepreneurs and celebrate those who have made significant contributions to the Houston community. The event will be held on May 12, 2016 at the Hyatt RegencyHouston.

Mike Alsup is a Sr. Vice President and founder of Gimmal, a Houston software company. After management positions with Accenture and Booz Allen, he founded BSG, Align Solutions, and Gimmal. BSG and Align each sold for more than $100M. Gimmal has been on the Houston Fast Tech 50 eight times and is the only software company on the INC 5000 for ten consecutive years.

Mike was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2008. He graduated from Rice and has an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a past President of the Jones School Board of Partners.
