Mission and Goals
The mission of the HTC is three-fold:

ACCELERATE THE GROWTH OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES
Through strategic planning and consultation, our interactive Website is an entrée to entrepreneurial resources. HTC provides its client companies with cost-effective access to many of Houston's leading professional service firms , key advisors and potential investors. Through educational programs, entrepreneurs gain relevant, practical knowledge on how to best establish and grow a technology-based business.

COMMUNICATE HOUSTON'S COMMERCIAL TECHNOLOGY SUCCESSES
HTC is actively leading the effort to promote the greater Houston community as a fertile environment for technology companies. This is accomplished by working with the media to better promote our successes, and through networking and educational events to unite and integrate Houston's diverse technology population into Houston's business community.

EDUCATE ENTREPRENEURS, STUDENTS AND THE COMMUNITY
Technology, entrepreneurship and Houston's role in the 21st century information economy are shared by hosting educational events and collaborating with leading local institutions and organizations to develop technology-focused training programs. In this way, HTC will help Houston develop a broader and more highly skilled workforce, thereby bolstering Houston's competitive position in the information economy of the 21st century.
